so, largest number will be x+2+2=x+4

four times the largest is seven times the smallest decreased by 26 units

so, we can set up equation as


4* (x+4)=7* x-26

now, we can solve for x


4x+16=7x-26


4x=7x-42


-3x=-42


(-3x)/(-3)=(-42)/(-3)


x=14

So,
