Explain why scientists must conduct trials in humans before this procedure becomes a widespread medical treatment.

Testing is required by the FDA before widespread consumption because side effects and other risk need to be evaluated and fully explored and told to the public.

Human test usually come after rat testing because Humans may react differently than mice when exposed to certain drugs.

you always want to test it by using trials before making it open to the general public to make sure it's safe for use.
