Last Tuesday the lowest temperature recorded for City A was 32 degrees F and the lowest temperature recorded for City B was -27 degrees F. What is the difference in temperature between City A and City B?

The difference is found by subtracting the City B temperature from the City A temperature:

... 32 °F - (-27 °F) = 59 °F

The difference is 59 degrees F.
