(7 inches) / 2 = 3.5 inches

Each segment is 3.5 inches.

3.5 inches because. If you put it in different terms.

Let's say 7 is 70.

70 divided by 2 is 35.

Just add a decimal in between 3 and 5 and your answer is 3.5
