The slope-intercept form:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

We have the slope

m=(1)/(2)\to y=(1)/(2)x+b

Put the coordinates of the point (6, -3) to the equation of the line:

-3=(1)/(2)(6)+b\\\\-3=3+b\qquad\text{subtract 3 from both sides}\\\\-6=b\to b=-6

Answer:
y=(1)/(2)x-6
