The main difference between the subsistence farming and the commercial farming is:
- the subsistence farming is performed on smaller lands, owned by people in less developed country, and the whole production is used for domestic usage, for feeding the family.
- the commercial farming is performed on a much bigger lands. It is owned by people in developing or more developed countries, and the whole production goes on the market.
