A Web music store offers two versions of a popular song. The size of the standard version is 2.4 megabytes (MB). The size of the high-quality version is 4.2 MB. Yesterday, there were 820 downloads of the song, for a total download size of 2454 MB. How many downloads of the high-quality version were there?

You can create 2 equations with this problem which are 2.4x+4.2y=2454 and x+y=820. Where x is how many low quality songs you download and y is the amount of high quality songs downloaded.

I solved this by graphing

When you graph the interception is (550,270)

This means 550 low quality songs were downloaded and 270 high quality songs were downloaded
