Topic sentence
The topic sentence, which it's written at the beginning of the paragraph, is the one responsible to clearly situate the paragraph’s content in relation to the thesis and it serves as a "guide" to the following sentences of the paragraph: Each sentence in the paragraph should help support or connect with the topic sentence in some way.
