Hi There!

Probability of choosing one suit: 13/52

Choosing 1 spade: 13/52

Putting it aside and choosing another spade: 12/51

Hope This Helps :)

Answer:

The probability of drawing a spade from a 52-card deck, replacing it, & then drawing another spade is
(1)/(16)

Explanation:

Given : A standard deck of playing cards has 52 cards : 13 spades, 13 clubs, 13 hearts, & 13 diamonds.

To find : What is the probability of drawing a spade from a 52-card deck, replacing it, & then drawing another spade ?

Solution :

Total number of cards = 52 cards

Number of spade cards = 13 cards

Probability of getting a spade card is
(13)/(52)

Now, The card we draw replace it.

So, Number of spade card is still = 13

Probability of getting another spade card is
(13)/(52)

Now, The probability of drawing a spade from a 52-card deck, replacing it, & then drawing another spade is

P=(13)/(52)*(13)/(52)

P=(1)/(4)*(1)/(4)

P=(1)/(16)

Therefore, The probability of drawing a spade from a 52-card deck, replacing it, & then drawing another spade is
(1)/(16)
