Can somebody solve this inequality; I need to know how to do it!

Start with

`-1 \geq -2+(a)/(14)`

Add 2 to both sides:

`1 \geq (a)/(14)`

Multiply both sides by 14. Note that, since 14 is positive, we don't have to change the inequality sign:

`14 \geq a \iff a \leq 14`

multiply both sides by 14 to get rid the fraction. this comes out to -14≥-2+a. then you need to add 2 to each side because it is a NEGATIVE 2. this ends up being -12≥a. Hope this helps!!
