(a)

the area of a square = s² ( where s is the length of side )

area = 55² = 3025 ft²

(b)

the volume (V) of a pyramid is calculated using

V =
(1)/(3) × area of base × height

=
(1)/(3) × 3025 × 460

= 463 833 ft³ ( to nearest cubic foot )
