The industrialization can best be depicted by the Industrial Revolution, this era represents a revolutionary change in the social and economic life of the late XVIII century. The industrialization has effects in the political structure due to the increase of power of the industries that would later become monopolies. The same could be said for the social structures, the mechanization of labor caused the displacement of the working hand of thousands of laborers.

Some ways in which political and social structures were affected by industrialization are, the cheap production of household items through economies of scale, and the sustained demand of commodities created by the rapid growth in the population.

Industrialization made possible expeditious shifts in power, and the quick evolution of social institutions, globalization, and also popularized global trade and investing.
