Divide each term in

3x=27 by 3.3x3=27/3


Reduce the expression by cancelling the common factors.

Cancel the common factor.

3x3=27/3


Divide

x by 1.x =27 /3


Divide

27 by 3.x=9

To solve for equations that consists of factions, you have to cross multiply, and we also have to use reverse PEMDAS.


(3x)/(27) = (2)/(3)

3x * 3 = 27 * 2

6x = 54

Divide both sides by 6

x = 9
