Where tobacco farmers immoral when they contracted indentured servants? What about with slaves?

The farmers were not immoral with the indentured servants because the servants had a choice to be a servant. But the farmers were immoral with slaves because the slaves were forced into slavery.

They just wanted personal profit. It was every man for himself, and “looking out for number one” - number one being, of course, yourself. To themselves, they weren’t immoral, but today with the idea that slavery is wrong, some may say that they were immoral,
