We can notice that : Line Passes through the Points A(-3 , 5) and B(1 , -1)

Let us find the slope of the line in order to write the Equation of the Line.

Slope of a Line Passing through two points (x₁ , y₁) and (x₂ , y₂) is given by :

\heartsuit Slope(m) =
(y_1 - y_2)/(x_1 - x_2)

Points are (-3 , 5) and (1 , -1)

here x₁ = -3 and x₂ = 1 and y₁ = 5 and y₂ = -1

\heartsuit
Slope(m) = (5 + 1)/(-3 - 1) = (6)/(-4) = (-3)/(2)

Equation of the Line passing through (1 , -1) and having slope
(-3)/(2) is :

\heartsuit
y + 1 = (-3)/(2)(x - 1)
