Ikea is a product based company because they sell products such as tables, chairs, lamps, and any other sort of furniture. It can not be called service based because they provide products, not service. A service is when someone does something for you and you pay for it. Services are like getting your hair cut, staying at a hotel, or eating at a cafe, but these things are not products. Therefore, Ikea is a product based company.
