The contribution that Henry Ford and Ransom Olds did to the Second industrial Revolution was the assembly line. The assembly line is credited to Olds, he was the first person to use the stationary assembly line. Henry Ford improved upon Old's assembly line, he used a moving assembly line which allowed a much greater production in the automotive industry.
