The first thing we need to do is solve this equation, to isolate the Y variable. That way we can use slope intercept form

So

4x-2y=5\\4x=2y+5\\4x-5=2y\\2x-2.5=y

So now we have our equation into Y=mx+b. In this form, the slope is represented by m, so our slope is 2
