If l||m and the measure of angle 7 is twice the measure of angle 2, then the measure of angle 7 is

angles 2 and 7 equal 180 degrees. 180 = 2x + x

180 = 3x

x = 60

angle 7 is twice x

angle 7 = 120

Answer:

Explanation:

Given that l and m are two parallel lines and angle 7 and 2 are interior angles.

Angle 7 = twice angle 2

Let measure of angle 2 be x

Then measure of angle 7 = 2x

Since in parallel lines alternate angles are supplmenetary we have

sum of angle 7 and angle 2 form 180 degrees

i.e. x+2x =180

3x=180

x=60

Hence answer is angle 2 is 60 degrees and angle 7 is 120 degrees.
