HELP PLS how would i write this equation????

One number is 5more than another. The sum of twice the smaller number plus fourtimes the larger number,is 56. What are the two numbers?

y = 5 + x

2x + 4y = 56

2x + 4* (5+x) = 56

2x + 20 + 4x = 56

6x = 36

x = 6

y = 5 + x = 5 + 6 = 11
