slope intercept form is y=MX+b.
M is the slope, x is the x intercept, and b is the y intercept

the slope is

( - 2)/(1)
An intercept is where the formula crosses the axis. therefore, the x intercept is .5, and the y intercept is 1
so the point slope formula is

y = ( - 2)/(1) 0.5 + 1

The slope = -1/2 and y intercept is at y = 1

The answer is y = -1/2 x + 1
