How can you be sure that 0.47 ÷ 1,000 = 0.00047?

When dividing by 1,000 move the decimal point three places to the left.
When dividing by 1,000 move the decimal point three places to the right.
When dividing by 1,000 move the decimal point four places to the left.
When dividing by 1,000 move the decimal point four places to the right.

I believe that it is A. It is the only one that makes sense. If you look at numbers 0.47 and 0.00047, the decimal point in 0.00047 is three more spaces to the left than 0.47. Hope this helps!
