Review the event from Julius Caesar. Caesar decides to go to the Senate despite what Calpurnia has told him. Which theme does this event develop? Power can go to our heads. Poor reasoning can cause us to make serious mistakes. Men who stick to their principles will always command respect. Everyone has a side he or she shows to the public and a side he or she keeps private.

This even best develops the theme of poor reasoning can cause us to make serious mistakes. The poor reasoning was Caesar not taking Calpurnia's words to heart, and the serious mistake was his death.
