Amount of pecans picked by six friends =
14(2)/(5) pounds

Converting it to improper fraction form =
(72)/(5) pounds

Number of friends among whom these are divided equally = 6

So, each friend gets =
((72)/(5))/(6) pounds

=
(72)/(5)*(1)/(6)

=
(12)/(5) pounds

And converting this in mixed fraction, each friend gets =

2(2)/(5) pounds
