The Battle of Trenton happened December 26th, 1776 in Trenton New Jersey. This was during the Revolutionary War. After George Washington crossed the Delaware, he led the main army of Continental troops to fight against Hessian mercenaries stationed in Trenton. After a brief battle, almost two-thirds of the Hessian forces were captured, while the Americans suffered very minimal losses. Hope that helps!
