How do you find out which molecule out of two is more polar

Answer:

Check the electronegativities of the atoms involved in each bond. The greatest difference in electronegativity will correspond to the most polar bond.

The electronegativity can be used to determine the polarity. However, the molecular shape is the best, and easiest way to determine whether a molecule is polar or non-polar.
