How might a grassland change if very How might a grassland change if very little precipition falls on the area for several years?

The grass land would become a sort of dessert do to the lack of water to nurture and feed the plants. Everything would die and we would just be left with cracking dirt and sand.

It might dry up forcing all the organisms inside to adapt or die off.
