It is called “No Child Left Behind” and it was approved in the presidency of George W. Bush in 2002. It was created with the purpose that all children, no matter what, achieve academic proficiency. With this law, American schools must expect their respective students to progressively improve their exam grades in order to not lose the funding they receive from the federal government.
