y-50x=600 ; now you want to see where they intersect, you want isolate one of the variables so, lets get rid of y because it's easier, subtract y-y and they cancel out, now you will subtract -100x - 50x =-150x and subtract 500-600

now you have -150x=-100 now isolate x and do this by dividing -150 from both sides you should get 0.67 now you plug this x value into one of the equation and you should get the point where they intersect, correct me if I'm wrong
