Y=32(4)

Y = 128

x = number of friends he is giving to the cards to

(a)

y = 32x

(b)

To find the number of cards he had in total, just plugin the number of friends he gave his cards to, which was 4 friends

y = 32x

y = 32(4)

y = 128
