I think what your looking for is along the lines of the humidity and rain basic weather I guess. For example when it rains it cools the earth, when it’s hot the water evaporates of the surface and it’s then later will possibly rain and cool the earth again

Step-by-step explanation:

The properties of water that helps water cycle to maintain balanced climate is evaporation, condensation and precipitation. In evaporation, water takes up energy from its surroundings and decrease the temperature of environment and when it condenses, it releases energy and the environment get warm. Precipitation is a process that releases water from clouds as rain sleet, snow, or hail. These three properties of water helps to maintain the climate.
