What is one way that the system of mass production generally affected families?

Children’s education wasn’t as important then as it is now so the children and fathers would go to work in the factories and the mother would too but I think for them is was more for the production of clothe and such because obviously the men wouldn’t be doing that. Also I got this from the user savannanahhrose19 so this wasent by me
