Your friend is confiding in you that he is getting a divorce from his wife of 10 years. they have two children aged 6 and 8 years. he knows that he is unlikely to get custody and is afraid that he will not see his children as much as he would like. what suggestions do you have for him? what would you recommend?

I would recommend that he talk to his wife about joint custody and if need be to get an attorney and perhaps an arbitrator.
