I was a portuguese nobleman who left Portugalin 1497 and sailed around Africa and reached India in 1498. My name was ( C ), Vasco da Gama. Back in Portugal da Gama was given many priviliges and he was the King´s advisor on Indian matters. In 1524 he was sen to India as Portuguese Viceroy.
