The spreading of enlightenment ideas was mostly aided by the printing press. Not only books but now full encyclopedias were at hand reach. This was a revolution insofar as middle class people had now access to education, being able to stand, in respect to knowledge, as equals with nobles, all of which were accelerating factors in the spreading of enlightenment.
