The Romanticism or Romantic period was between 1825-1910. During this period five American events that took place are;
1. The first railroad track was opened 1830
2. American Civil war which occurred 1861 - 1865
3. In 1865 President A. Lincon was assassinated
4. Slavery was abolished in America during 1865
5. In 1886 the Statue of Liberty was unveiled.
