Your equation asks for 3 × 1/3 + 2

Let's begin with 3 × 1/3

We should put 3 in a form of a fraction as well, it will look like so,

3/1 × 1/3

Since they are opposite of each other and are the same fractions the answer would be 1.

Now the equation would state 1 + 2,

And your answer would be 3

Hope this helped!~ :D

3x 1/3 + 2

you would first want to reduce the numbers by 3

you would cancel out the two 3's

now your problem looks like this:

1+2

then add 1 and 2 together and you get your answer:

3

Hope this helps! :3
