My equasion is -0.84 divided by -2.8 how do i divide that?

Since both numbers are negative, the answer will be positive.

Here you can move the decimals places, or straight up divide it.

If you move the decimal places, the number of places you move must be the same on both. So .84 to 84. you moved two decimal places, so you have to move two on 2.8. so 2.8 is now 280.

Then divide normally, 84/280

280 can only go 0.3 times into 84

And dividing -0.84 by -2.8 also gives you 0.3
