Is sugar dissolving in water a physical or chemical change?
Explain why?

It’s a physical change. Simply because the form of the sugar is not change. For example, if you were to dissolve sugar in water and then let the water evaporate, you would see that the sugar would remain.

It is a physical change. It is because it can be heated to get the sugar back through a process called Evaporation.
