How can you fix a run on sentence

You can join two clauses with a comma and/or a coordinating conjunction
Or
Break it into two separate sentences

If the sentence is two independent clauses then you need either a semicolon or period to fix. If it’s a dependent and an independent clause the a comma would suffice.
