2(1/2)-1(4/7)

(5/2)-(11/7) multiply the big 2 with the two on the bottom and add it with one and put it on top

same thing but with the whole number with the seven and adding it with whatever is on top

(35/14)-(22/14)

multiply (5/2) with (7/7) to have the same denominator and (11/7) with (2/2)

(13/14)
