As we know the formula ,


\text{ Area of rhombus}=(1)/(2)* d_1* d_2\\ where\\d_1\ and\ d_2\text{ are two diagonals}

So, here in our case,


d_1=AC=6\ units\\d_2=BD=12\ units

So, now , we'll use the formula for area of rhombus ,


\text{ Area of rhombus}=(1)/(2)* 6* 12=(72)/(2)=36\text{ units}

Hence , the area of rhombus is 36 square units.
