Long ago, in 1274 a macro-historical event occurred that limit the Mongol expansion and became one of the most important events in the history of Japan.
The Mongol invasion of Japan occurred in 1274 and 1281, led by Kublai Khan from the Mongol side, they attacked the Japanese archipelago although, the attempt was a failure the invasion became of strong importance to Japanese history.
