PLEASE HELP! I DONT UNDERSTAND! 98 POINTS! AND I ALREADY HAVE THE GRAPH!!! A FedEx freight truck carries three tons of packages 660 miles on 90 gallons of diesel fuel from Miami, FL to Atlanta, GA. FedEx makes a graph to represent the miles per gallon the truck uses.

What is the domain in this situation? explain you answer.

What does the origin of the graph represent in this situation? explain your answer

If you divide 660 by 90, we see that the unit rate for this graph is 7.333 repeating, or 7 1/3. So it shows the unit rate.

The domain is anything that can be divided by 7 1/3.

The origin of the graph represents the coordinates for every other point on the graph.

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

Domain

The domain is the x value. They go alphabetically.

domain = x value

range = y value.

The domain for this situation is 0 to 90 gallons

domain: 0 ≤ x ≤ 90. The domain is between 0 and 90.

As the truck moves, each gallon of gas on the x axis moves it closer to it's destination 660 miles away (Atlanta Ga)

The slope of the graph is the rate of gas consumption. slope = miles / gallons.

slope = 660 / 90

slope = 7.33 miles per gallon. You are not asked for this but it might help you understand what the domain represents. Every gallon used in the domain allows you to travel another 7.33 miles.

Origin

The origin is (0,0). It means that the Fedex truck has not moved at all when the trip began. It has gone 0 miles and used 0 gallons of diesel fuel.
