How does the point of view in “How a Cat Played Robinson Crusoe” influence the story?

The pint of view is from the cat's point of view. THe cat is not a human, so it sees things differently than we might as educated humans. For example, the cat sees surviving differently than we might. As humans we probably would have started a fire and then build a shelter, etc. But the cat can't do any of these things, so it does what a cat can do: hunt and sleep. I really hope this helps!
