Answer: F(8) = -1


Explanation:

In synthetic division, we write coefficients of each term of the polynomial to be divided. We then copy first term as it is and then multiply it with 8. The answer we keep in second slot and then do the operations and then again multiply the answer with 8. We proceed the same way till last. The number obtained at the last gives the remainder or the value of polynomial at that point
