2 5/6 times 2 1/2 equals 85/12 but if you want to simplify it, it equals 7 1/2

85/12 because you have to simplify 2 5/6 and it’s 17 /6 and the 2 and 1/2 which turns into 5/2 and you multiply 17/6 x 5/2 and it’s - 85/12
