If you were to randomly survey 10 people at 100 random eyeglasses stores across the country, would this be a random sample? Why or why not?

Answer:

Yes, as long as you use a random chance process to select the 10 random people.

Explanation:

Random Processes are random number generators, etc.

THIS PERSON DID NOT INCLUDE THE FULL QUESTION

Here are the details he left out...

Many people in the United States wear corrective lenses (contacts or glasses). In this activity, you will come up with ways to study this population, make predictions based on the study, and compare multiple random samples.

Since this survey is about corrective lenses, (how many people need them) it would not be accurate at all to go only to eyeglass stores and not the general population as its presumed if you are at an eyeglass store you already need them.

SO THE ANSWER IS NO
