To solve this you have to find the area of the rectangle and triangle separate and then you add them to find the whole area of the composite figure.

Rectangle- height is 7 & length is 13 because the triangle’s height is 7 so you subtract 7 from 20. So 7 times 13= 91

Triangle- height is 7 & length is 7
7 times 7 is 49

Then add them which gives you the area of 140
