The whole story would've changed drastically if the prince was never motivated to find the owner of the glass slipper. Cinderella would've continued on with her life, being forced to work for her step sister's and step mother. Cinderella's life wouldn't change at all, and seeing the situation she was in, the step mother wouldn't allow anything to change anyways.
